Lately, we hear a lot about how to detox, what diets to go on, what juices to drink, and the list goes on. Some of those suggestions can actually be quite effective, however, they rely on taxing your internal organs responsible for detoxing your system. I will get into why this may not be a good idea later.
This is why I like this method because it lets your liver and kidneys rest while you slip into a nice hot bath to let the salts and essential oils do the work.
For instance, the last time I tried this my cold symptoms subsided that evening and I felt better the next day. The ingredients below facilitate the elimination of toxins which cleanse the liver, kidneys, and thyroid. In other words: it gets that cold over with quicker.
Why do we need to detox in the first place?
Doesn’t our body do this naturally? Yes, as I mentioned earlier, certain organs are tasked with this job and but if you’re feeling sick, chances are those organs are already weakened by the toxic overload in the first place.
This is happening more frequently these days because our food has record high contaminants and harmful chemicals in them and just waking up in the morning and going about your day subjects your body to the same thing.
This is the gift of modern times. But hey, at least we are retaining higher profits for our shareholders. I’ll let you think for a minute on that one.
Let’s talk about vaccines…
Certain kinds of vaccines are highly correlated with having chemicals and metals in them that cause chronic disease.
vaccines contain the following: sucrose, fructose, dextrose, potassium phosphate, aluminum potassium sulfate, peptone, bovine extract, formaldehyde, FD&C Yellow #6, aluminum lake dye, fetal bovine serum, sodium bicarbonate, monosodium glutamate, aluminum hydroxide, benzethonium chloride, lactose thimerosal, ammonium sulfate, formaldehyde, glutaraldehyde, bovine extract), calf serum, aluminum phosphate, aluminum hydroxyphosphate sulfate, and ethanol.

Think of Your Body Like a Car
Just like a car needing a routine oil change, our bodies need to be relieved of overburdening toxins that our normal system couldn’t flush out.
There are always remnants of unabsorbed nutrients that turn into toxins over time. It’s absolutely essential to eliminate built up toxins. Accumulated toxins will cause headaches, fatigue and various chronic diseases.
Heavy Metals & Chemicals Detox Bath
- 1 cup Epsom salt (
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 10 drops cilantro essential oil
- 10 drops rosemary essential oil
Optional: To give it more of an anti-inflammatory kick, try adding ginger essential oil
If you want to take a soak to change how you feel, change your mood, simply use the salt with 10 drops of the corresponding essential oil listed below. You can mix up to 3 oils at a time.
Calming & Uplifting Salt Baths
- 1 cup Epsom salt
- Lavender – Calming and relaxing
- Grapefruit – Uplifting
- Peppermint – Fatigue
- Cedarwood – Depression
- Chamomile – Headache
- Add ingredients while drawing your hot bath.
- Relax and soak for 15-20 minutes so your body can sweat, detox and absorb all of the nutrients.
- Rinse off with a cool shower.
- Make sure you drink plenty of water before, during and after your bath to aid in the detoxification process.
